Inspiring Gardeners With Conservation in Mind
Practical, conservation-minded gardening guidance to inspire everyday home gardens. We share real lessons from real gardens: the wins, the flops, the slug battles, the pond leaks, and the happy accidents that make gardening worth every season.

About us
Paul's background: Conservation has always been at the heart of Paul’s life. He’s spent years rescuing injured marine mammals and helping reforest places like Madagascar, where he’s been part of planting over 100,000 trees.

Nicole’s background is just as rich — an editor on hit shows for E!entertainment and Frasier and other popular shows, she's also a talented musician, and fellow dirt-under-the-nails gardener.
Together we have a love for gardening, conservation, the ocean, and learning. The Bright Garden is our way of sharing what we’ve picked up along the way and creating a space for others who care about nature to connect too.

Our Community
The Bright Garden community is a welcoming space for gardeners of all levels to connect, share, and grow together. Whether it’s through our Facebook group or right here on the site, you’ll find a place to post photos of your garden, ask questions, swap stories, and share tips — from compost piles to tomato harvests and even recipes from the kitchen. It’s a space to celebrate the joys (and the challenges!) of gardening, while learning from each other and enjoying a few of our own stories along the way.
Gardening with a purpose
Our Mission At The Bright Garden
At The Bright Garden, our mission is to inspire natural gardening while giving back to the earth. Through our projects and community efforts, we work to support tree planting and conservation initiatives that restore habitats, protect wildlife, and help create a healthier planet for future generations.
Where Gardening Meets Conservation
At The Bright Garden, we like to think of gardening as a little act of conservation — a way to care for the soil under our feet while giving something back to the planet we all share. Part of our mission is simple: to put more trees in the ground and support conservation projects that keep habitats healthy and our world thriving. The other part is celebrating you and what you are planting.
